Data Recipient Updates
Foodstuffs Hits Milestone - 60 GS1net Live Suppliers
Foodstuffs now has 60 suppliers who are GS1net Live with at least one of the Foodstuffs Companies. The Foodstuffs Group reached this milestone last month for their GS1net supplier engagement.
The Foodstuffs team has gained a lot of momentum this year, with a fast track process for suppliers who demonstrate their commitment to GS1net with Foodstuffs. This new process has helped suppliers to become GS1net Live for the Foodstuffs Group in just three to eight weeks.
We achieve these timeframes by giving suppliers a single point of contact to run the process. We set fast turnaround times on queries for both Foodstuffs and the supplier, which keeps the process moving forward. Barkers Fruit Processors have just gone live on the system and customer service representative Anna White is excited at the benefits of the data alignment and once-only maintenance benefits of the system.
“The process of getting GS1net Live was so simple. Dealing with just one person and knowing that information would then transfer across Foodstuffs nationally was great.”
Foodstuffs is now setting target GS1net Ready dates for other high-priority suppliers, and these companies can expect a letter soon from Foodstuffs advising their target date.
Suppliers Going GS1net Live
Huge congratulations to these suppliers. GS1 NZ and your customers appreciate the time and effort it has taken you to reach this milestone.
Becoming GS1net Live means these suppliers are now having their Product Master Data actively populated into their customer’s systems. Changes made to these catalogues are being actively synchronised with their customers to ensure that everybody has the same product information.
